It's pretty big, it needs a lot of work and time dedicated to it, to keep it in good order and quite a lot of money. Generally we find that when we've got the money, we don't have the time and vice versa.
One of my biggest bug bears is the garden, it just keeps growing. All the time, non stop. There are days when it just seems like another giant job on top of all the other giant jobs that neeeed to be done.
On the whole, it's just a nice thing to have, and is kind of pleasant. Every now and then, well, it's spectacular!
Like this morning, I wandered down to let the chickens out and was met with this beautiful sight:
At the end of our garden is this field, it was cold and frosty, the sun was just coming up over the horizon and just for a second, a moment, I was dumbfounded by how lucky I am!!!
I have no right to moan. I shall try and remember that in future!
